Siyayinqoba Beat It! Broadcast time

Calls directed to the National AIDS Helpline

Each episode of Siyayinqoba Beat It! shows the National AIDS Helpline number on the screen at intervals throughout show. This is done to ensure that viewers who have questions or who have been prompted to seek help and assistance have a resource they can turn to. The amount of calls fielded by the Helpline in the hour after the show is broadcast is a clear indication that Siyayinqoba Beat It! makes a connection with viewers and prompts them into action to take control of their lives. The demonstrable increase in calls on Siyayinqoba Beat It! broadcast days, more than 3 times the number for the same time on non Siyayinqoba Beat It! broadcast days, points to the success of the latest series.
