In South Africa we have a legal framework that protects our rights as citizens, as workers, as consumers, and as patients. This legal framework is intended to protect us from unfair discrimination. There are also laws and legal precedents that protect the rights of people living with HIV/AIDS.

In this episode we look at the Bill of Rights and the Constitution as a whole and how they help protect our rights as people living with HIV/AIDS. From freedom of discrimination at school to the right to treatment for people living with HIV/AIDS, this programme shows in detail how each of these Acts are in place to protect our human rights.
